Why should I attend this seminar?

·         Consider clinical application and visualization of the most common conditions and syndromes appearing in the spine as well as upper and lower extremities

·         Learn the implications of anomalies and conditions that individualize care and progressive training

·         Gain a clearer understanding of the importance of stabilization, proprioception and endurance of the core, that is the axial skeleton via the “spinal engine”

·         Explore peripheral conditions in the appendicular skeleton and how they affect and are affected by the core

  • Orchestral design of human movement

  • Abdominal brace concept
  • Tongue on the roof of the mouth concept
  • Integrity of visceral organs and effective musculoskeletal motion
  • Open lab with dissection experience

Mark Thompson, DC

A 1991 graduate of Life West, Dr. Thompson teaches in the diagnosis and anatomy departments at Life West. He is a certified chiropractic sports physician (CCSP) and a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS). Dr. Thompson practiced in San Francisco, where he specialized in soft tissue and repetitive strain injuries of both the spine and the extremities.


Chris Salem, DC

Dr. Salem serves on the anatomy and physiology faculty of Kaiser Permanente School of Allied Health Sciences in Richmond, California. A 2000 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic West, he has taught anatomy at Life West since 2006.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  Every attempt is made to offer this program as announced. However, Life Chiropractic College West reserves the right to adjust program faculty, locations, dates, times and tuition to accommodate unanticipated occurrences, and to cancel due to insufficient enrollment. Life West will only notify advance registrants of any cancellation or program changes. Life West is not responsible for any expenses incurred by registrants due to adjustments or cancellations. A $50 processing fee will be charged for refunds if the registrant provides written notice of cancellation at least five (5) business days prior to the seminar start date. Registration is nonrefundable if the program for which it applies is conducted as scheduled; however, a credit voucher may be issued, minus a $25 processing charge. A credit voucher must be requested within sixty (60) days of the seminar end date. The credit voucher may be applied towards another Life West program and must be redeemed within one (1) year of the original scheduled program date or it will be forfeited.
