to the World of Ergonomics Safety Management and the Wellness Model Chuck Sherrod, DC, MPH, CIE In this module each participant will experience a highly interactive session involving how to roll-out an effective and comprehensive wellness & applied ergonomics program in terms of worksite surveillance system that utilizes a four-phased method, as easy as 1,2,3,4 for identifying injury and illness risk factors for both office or biotech (knowledge worker) and material handling worker populations. |

Workstations Need Not Be Hazardous to Your Health Robert E. Dubro, DC, DACBOH During this module, our faculty member will equip each participant with the knowledge and skills to interact more safely and productively with their workstation environment providing reasonable accommodation utilizing the ergonomics process. This session will involve an interactive session of setting up of the ideal workstation (i.e., computer desktop/laptop, car, etc.), as well as the implementation of specific injury prevention interventions. Bring your laptops, cameras (cell phones) and tape measures. |

Charles
Sherrod, DC MPH, CIE Dr. Sherrod is the Director of the Ergonomics Institute of Life Chiropractic College West where he teaches undergraduate and postgraduate classes, develops grants, researches and submits scientific papers. He is a Certified Industrial Ergonomist (CIE) and president of Occucom, Inc., an ergonomics consulting firm with clients such as Kaiser Permanente, Amtrak, Safeco and American Express. |

Robert E. Dubro, DC, DACBOH, DABCO, CCSP Dr. Dubro has a BS degree from the University of Southern California and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic West cum laude. He holds Diplomates in both Occupational Health and Orthopedics as well as being a CCSP. He is a past president of the American Chiropractic Association's Council on Occupational Health, Immediate Past President of the American Board of Chiropractic Specialties and is vice president and an examiner for the American Chiropractic Board of Occupational Health. Dr. Dubro practices in Fremont, CA. |

Every
attempt is made to offer this program as announced. However, Life Chiropractic
College West reserves the right to adjust program faculty, locations, dates,
times and tuition to accommodate unanticipated occurrences, and to cancel due to
insufficient enrollment. Life West will only notify advance registrants of any
cancellation or program changes. Life West is not responsible for any expenses
incurred by registrants due to adjustments or cancellations.
A $50 processing fee will be charged for refunds if the registrant provides written notice of cancellation at least one (1) business day prior to the seminar start date. Registration is nonrefundable if the program for which it applies is conducted as scheduled; however, a credit voucher may be issued, minus a $25 processing charge. A credit voucher must be requested within sixty (60) days of the seminar end date. The credit voucher may be applied towards another Life West program and must be redeemed within one (1) year of the original scheduled program date or it will be forfeited.
